Labor Day in Casper

Over Labor Day weekend, we drove up to Casper to visit Rob's sister Shannon Copelan and her family.  We left Friday night and spent three great days together.  We all had a great time!

On Saturday we went to Ennis Park (If I remember the name correctly) and swam in the lake.

 On Sunday, we went to church.  The kids were so cute how they were all color-coordinated, so I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of them. 

Aunt Shannon helped each kid make a personalized bracelet.  Love those cute little wrists!

 Sunday afternoon, we went for a Sunday walk.  It was lovely.

Evie REALLY wanted to push the stroller, but her steering skills are abysmal, so after much protesting ("No, Momma, I do it! I do it myself!"), we finally came to an arrangement: she would push and I would steer.  Now she loves doing this and always begins by saying "I push, you stee-uh, Momma."

After our walk we played some games and had some races on the field.

 On Labor Day, we went boating on Alcova Lake.  It was very windy, so the boating itself wasn't the greatest, but we went to this cool sand dune that sloped right down into the water, and we had fun playing there.

It was a fun day and a great trip! It was so nice spending time with the Copelans! We went to the farmer's market, we played Pit, the kids had a great time playing on the trampoline and eating apples from their apple tree.  We love being together!
