In May, Rob decided to begin construction on an outdoor playhouse for the girls. With a little help from family and friends, he finished it in August. It is fully insulated and is wired for electricity, so that we can put a space heater in it when the weather turns colder. It has a loft in the back half that is complete, but there is no ladder yet, that may have to wait until after hunting season. We will add a few more finishing touches next summer, like window boxes and grass, but it is functional. We moved a bunch of toys out there, and it is so nice to have them out of the house. Not to mention the girls love it!

| Framing. We built our own roof trusses. |
| My handy husband! |
| With siding, windows, and roof. |
| Us girls helping--we did most of the trim painting. |
| All finished! |
| It took me two days to paint this door. This picture was taken before Rob added the regular doorknob. |

| Complete with toys...and children! The girls were so excited to help me move all the toys in. |
| Jessica was my best painting helper. She also played in the playhouse with the girls quite a bit. |
| Evie's just a little excited. |
It turned out to be a longer and more expensive project than we had originally anticipated, but the girls love it so much and we will have many good memories there, I'm sure. Thank you Daddy for the best playhouse ever!
