Uinta County Fair

We didn't make it to the Sweetwater County Fair this year, but we opted for the smaller and more family-friendly Uinta County Fair.  It was perfect for our family.  Highlights were: the inflatable slides, obstacle course, and bouncy house; the trampoline bungee; the sandbox; the animals; ice creams courtesy of Papa; and the Wild West Cowboy show.

On the giant slide

They went on this slide over and over and over!

Then it was time for the bungee trampolines.  This was the only attraction we had to pay for.  Five bucks apiece.  All three girls went at the same time.

Getting all strapped in

You can see Claire behind Hallie.

The worker ratcheted her harness up so that he would pull down on her leg and she would go flying when he let go.

This was Claire's favorite part of the fair.

Hallie got to be a helper in the cowboy show, and she stood on the stage while T. Texas Terry spun a lariat around her.  Then she got to spin her own lariat, and got a bandanna for her participation.  She was the only participant who got such a big section of the show.  She was pretty excited to be a gen-u-ine cowgirl, and informed me after the show that she wanted to be a cowgirl when she grew up.
I didn't get a picture of her at the show, but here she is with her bandanna.
It was a perfect size, pace, and price (almost all the activities were free!) for our young crew.  Not too crowded, and super nice people! Great fun at the county fair!
